I am a licensed marriage and family therapist in California (#98129) with a M.Ed. in couples and family therapy from the University of Oregon. I do therapy with individuals, couples, and families in my office in southern California, and by video and telephone with California residents.

My undergraduate education was in psychology, where I focused on social psychology and power dynamics.

In my spare time I write and record music. I think, read, and write about science, philosophy, therapy, and other topics. I am a long-time counselor at Not Back to School Camp, and I enjoy life with my wife, daughter, and extended family in Joshua Tree, California.
